In 1973 our home burnt down in Crittenden, KY. There was a great deal of paranormal activity before the incident. My brother's crib was taken apart, and he was laid on the floor sound asleep. The screws were left in a pile next to him. You could smell a rotten odor before anything ever happened like spoiled ham. A shadow figure of a man could be seen and heard throughout the home. The figure would even sit behind you on the bed where you could hear it breathing.

We were one of the first families to have a paranormal group from the University of Kentucky to study the entity.
The night of the fire we were

sleeping, and the rotten smell was so strong it woke my mother. Above her bed was a red glow, and she was shoved out of bed by the entity before the ceiling collapsed on the bed. She was able to get us kids out. She tried to go back in the home to retrieve items but was pushed so hard at the door, and she fell backwards to the ground. We drove to the fire station to pull the alarm. The house and everything in it was a total loss. We were told the house
