Some twenty years later I asked my aunt if she remembered that day. She did, and she told me of other experiences that she had encountered. That house has long changed owners several times. However, from what I understand, the people that bought the house from my grandparents had seen spirits as well, but they went a step further and had a paranormal television show do a feature on the home. I never had the opportunity to see the show, nor had I heard

anything more about the house. I often wonder if they too saw the little girl and her mother and if the girl and mother still linger inside the basement

of that house. .
