ended up running into another soldier after finding two more plots. He was lost too. We traded what we had, and we started back, but I had one more plot to find. After I left that soldier I found the back side of the asp. I was on a hill. It was tall dead grass up to my knees. I didn't feel anything watching me anymore. It was wood and clearings. I came down the hill fast because I was pressed for time, and my plot was in the area.

down this hill, and all of a sudden something screamed, ''John stop!'' Man, stopped me right in my tracks, ''John look down. '' Man, my toes were right

against a spool of c wire that the grass had taken over. I was all alone. No one came, and I would have been tangled in that stuff. Everything in me told me I was gonna bleed out that day, and something on that mountain saved me. Next it told me to look to my left. I looked to my left, and my plot was there in the sunlight a walk along the c wire, and I had it. Then I deployed to Afghanistan
I told myself if I come home, I will go back and find that
