When I was 16 my family moved to Ft Knox around 1997. We lived in a house on 8th Ave facing Spearhead Division Road. We were the fifth house up living in apartment b. At night in the basement I would see a ball of light and then the smell of roasted pork.
I would get a feeling of terror and a warm feeling like I was standing by a blazing fire. It was always around midnight. I was glad when my dad got promoted and we moved to Ft Drum.

The year I graduated a student was found hanged in the front gym in the area used as the stage. They found her body during 2nd period about a month after homecoming. The gym was closed and they took her body out a side door by the band room.
They never said anything about it, but I knew she was a young freshman who got dumped by her senior boyfriend. Rumor was she was pregnant and her father was a colonel and the shame of the scandal would end his career, so it was all kept hush hush.
They even took her name and picture out of the yearbook. That same week people noticed the gym lights would stay on the curtains would always be damp for no reason and people started hearing some girl crying at night in the gym but no one was there. This was in 1995.
