I work on Ft. Knox and take walks with my dog after work. This evening 2017/11/27 I was on the trail that parallels Wilson Road heading south towards Wilson Gate. I had just passed 11th Avenue away from the green space. There was full lume from the moon and clear skies. Most of the vegetation has died away, and you can see clear into the woods at night. I don't spook easily (infantry) in the dark, and my eyesight is good.
I was walking and scanning the area ahead as I went. I am very familiar with the trail and surroundings, so I know what's around as far as large trees and bushes. I saw the clearing come up on my left about 15-20 meters ahead, but what I wasn't expecting to see was a tall shadow average male height moving next to the bushes towards me at a walking pace. Like I said, I don't spook easily, but it was distinctive in shape and darker than the surrounding area like a man walking in the moonlight. It alerted me enough for me to actually turn on my white light. There was nothing there. He was gone!
There were no trees or bushes overhead to cast a human like shadow anywhere. I was spooked and felt very uneasy passing by. I reached my turnaround point and headed back. When I passed through that section again I saw and felt absolutely nothing. I later looked up Google maps and located a small cemetery about 200 meters south of that location visible from Wilson Road. My map pictures show the area and then an arrow from my approximate position and the spot where I saw the shadow guy walking.

I'm a retired SGM that lived in the middle house on 8th Avenue. My daughter who was seventeen and attended the high school kept telling me our house was haunted. I never believed her and thought she was lying for attention. One night (she slept in the basement) she woke me up screaming. I ran down the stairs from the bedroom on the second floor through the living room, dining room, and kitchen to the basement door. It was closed. I grabbed the knob, but I recoiled in pain. The doorknob was hot, but when I grabbed it again it wasn't. I was really upset, and my daughter was still screaming.
