First off, I was a huge skeptic of anything paranormal... But not now! I lived on-base at Pressler Grove for a little less than two years. When we first moved in our neighbors warned us about ''ghostly activity'' and other weird phenomena that would occur during the night, especially between 2-3 am. I thought nothing of this and wrote it off, though I did notice the heavy footsteps you would hear nightly going down our hall. I wrote it off as our neighbors' and the houses in Pressler Grove are connected. Then the neighbors PCS'd, and there was almost a year of no one living next door. That's when the activity really picked up.
One day as I was doing laundry in the basement I heard heavy breathing over my right shoulder. When I turned around there was a dark apparition with red eyes staring at me from the corner of the basement. I freaked out and ran upstairs. I told a neighbor what happened, and he contacted the Louisville Paranormal Society. They came out and ran an investigation that weekend and caught on video a child-shaped shadow figure walking down the hall and into our bedroom, amongst many other things. Way too many things happened in that house to write, but here are some highlights: lamps moving across tables, lights turning out simultaneously (on different outlets,) shadows dashing up the stairwell, TV's turning off, an entity jumping on my wife while she was sleeping, three knocks on the floor coming from the basement. The worst was the whispering sounds of my name when I was alone at night. DO NOT move into Pressler Grove unless you are single and prepared to deal with some craziness. These spirits will ruin your marriage, as they did mine and countless others around me.

Comment by Arnette: Your story has some striking similarities to my own experiences at Ft Knox.

Comment by E: I know in the 80s they found an old farm cemetery close to the houses. They tore the houses down and moved the graves to the main post cemetery. They built a park on where the graves were found.
Comment by Darrell: I remember when they found those graves! They tore two houses down, but they didn't tear down the other houses. I remember seeing them taking rotten wood planks and white bags from about 15 different backyards near the creek.
