Comment by NBB: The name of the graveyard is Mallie Conn Cemetery, I believe. There is a witch buried there supposedly. I hiked there once with a friend, and we were quite frightened from overwhelming feelings of dread and being watched. The place literally gave me nightmares as I dreamt of being a visitor to the cemetery and being ducked into the ground like quicksand or something pulling me under. My grandmother told me never to go back there. She said that it was a bad place, and things had been seen there before. She never would tell me what those ''things'' were, but she was a devout Christian and would not lie to me or anyone else. I would love to see and participate in an investigation of this place. It would be well worth it in my opinion. There is definitely an evil presence there. That I am sure of.
Comment by David: I found this story very interesting as well as NBB's comments. I looked for this cemetery since the house is gone and because it might be connected to the haunting that took place there and the surrounding area. I found it. It is tucked away and could see why others really wouldn't know much about it. That area does look very different with huge coal pits right beside it. I also noticed about 2000ft away before Conn Cemetery is Stratton Cemetery. I wonder if there's any connection to that place being so close by? I would love to see both these places for myself and investigate. This would be a very long drive for me and don't know this location at all. If anyone could help would be cool. That includes you, KBB. If there's to be a ghost hunt, please contact me sometime dtkidwell@ yahoo. com .
