I lived on Broadway, and I would hear footsteps of people running upstairs above me. My grandfather had passed away, and he claimed to see a woman with red hair in a green dress (an old time look) at the stove cooking. Not long after he passed I started seeing a little boy dressed in an old fashioned green outfit with red curly hair. He would follow me everywhere. Then there was a sighting of a woman in a wedding dress walking by our door at the top

of our stairs with an axe.

On Broadway my friends live in a big red house. I stayed the night with them and me and my husband were upstairs fighting, and something hit the door so hard it made the windows shake. They say they hear things all the time and I believe that there is a spirit there, they have seen things.

I was told when I was attending Estill county High School by several teachers that it was haunted. They talked about about the noises and sounds of laughter and chatter they heard after hours. They also talked about lockers slamming and chairs moving in class rooms close by and when they stepped out of their room to investgate everything was in place and the bulding empty.
