I asked her if she had seen anyone come through the house, and she said that she had not. I told her that I had just seen the woman that I had been dreaming about. I then asked her if she would come with me to look for her. She said ''no, I am not going to. You can. '' Then she went

on drinking her coffee. I started down the hallway and went into the room where I had seen her go. She was nowhere in sight. I wish now, that I had followed

her instead of going the other direction, maybe she wanted to show me something.
There is much more, that happened in that place, than what is being told in this one story. However, let me end this one by letting you know that my mother began to ask about the history of the house. She found out that the woman whom the house was built for, had died one winter from a miscarriage. They found her body in the closet where wood was once stored for
