A real haunted house in Murray Kentucky was the old TKE Fraternity house that was directly in front of the old Murray State University about half a block away. I had several friends who were members there, and there was always a lot of supernatural stuff going on including the juke box and pin ball machines playing by themselves and a ball of lightning going through the house. I know for a fact that something invisible walked up and down the stairs. The house

is long gone swallowed up by the need for more University parking, but I wonder if the ghosts stayed on.

There is a garage apartment on Olive where the lady who rented it committed suicide. I knew this person and know that something was not right in this apartment. This person claimed to hear voices and see shadows on a regular basis. I don't think that whatever is there directly caused the suicide, but it didn't help. After she died in the garage her daughters were cleaning out the apartment when one of them noticed the string on the bathroom light fixture move. They stopped it, checked for drafts, and watched it a minute. The string started swinging again getting faster. As they watched, they both heard a low growl. The girls left immediately. There is also a house on 9th where a lady recently committed suicide. If an unsettling death causes ghost attachment this will be a haunted house in the future. The most haunted place in Calloway has to be the New Concord area.
