One night I was in the kitchen all by myself. My mom and sisters were in the bathroom playing. My dad was in the living room silently sleeping in the chair. I was cutting off a tag off my shirt. I put the scissors back in the drawer when I was finished. I turned around and thought I heard footsteps leading up to me. All of a sudden I felt a cool breeze rush through me. When I looked back at the drawer the scissors were gone. I looked at the other side of the room and saw them sitting on the kitchen table. I closed my eyes and counted to three, thinking everything would stop. When I opened my eyes the scissors were gone and back in the drawer, and the drawer was close this time. I looked around, and my mom and sisters were still in the bathroom, and my dad was still asleep in the chair.

When I was a young child my family rented a house in Maceo, KY. One evening my mom and I were there by ourselves watching TV, and I decided to go get a toy from my room. It was at the far end of the hall on the right side. To get there I had to pass my parents' room which was in the middle of the hall on the left side. As I walked back into the hall with toys in hand, I looked up to see a monstrous looking figure standing in doorway of my parents' room. It was huge and mean looking. This thing was between me and my mom, and all I could think about was getting to her. This was horrifying because to do so I would have to run right past it. I remember throwing the toys and running screaming down the hall.

All I could say was that I had seen Frankenstein. When she went to investigate there was nothing there. That is the end of my first hand experience. The rest of the story was told to us by my mother. Needles to say, this caused quite an uproar in our family, and that was when she told everyone that when I said ''Frankenstein''. She knew exactly what I had seen. She had her own encounter which she never told anyone about (except my dad).

One night my mom woke up to see a large menacing grotesque figure of a man standing at the foot of her bed. It stayed there long enough for her to get a good look at it and only disappeared when she woke up my dad. It was the same ghost and the same room. We were renting the house, and the landlords lived in the house next to ours. My parents told them about what had happened, and they said that one of their fathers had built both houses and was living in ours when he was killed in a horrific car accident. The bedroom where he was seen used to be his. Apparently his spirit was not at rest.
