Comment by Aleah: I work at the Dominican life center and many coworkers that work the night shift say they have encountered some odd things while working.. And I've had some sisters tell me of odd things that have happened in their experiences as well!.

I work at the local Shoe Carnival in the city. Since I've been there I've felt very uneasy, especially at night. There's a strange presence on the property that makes the entire building feel like it's bursting with energy.

One night, while closing, I caught a glimpse of a shadow on the monitor of a security camera. The shadow vanished and behind where I saw it standing there were several vertical rows of socks swinging back and forth like something brushed by it. My manager has seen the shadow walking by the security camera for the back door of the store. A door that is far from the public eye, let alone public access.

Our small radio headsets will randomly lose all battery power despite charging all night, and frequently nonsensical static will blurt out without anyone touching a button. The registers will beep as if something has been scanned or someone pressed a button despite no one standing there.
Shoes that are set out as displays get moved around from one end of the store to the other, even after everything has been cleaned up and put away for the night. Sometimes shoes just flat out disappear for days, only to reappear inside locked cabinets!
Whispers can be heard when the store is quiet as in the music that plays during hours has been turned off. The whispers seem to be mostly around the children's department. When in the back office, mostly during night, the sounds of someone opening and closing the nearby utility closet door can be heard, as well as loud banging on all the walls.
