Comment by Family: Little Mark was my cousin. I was actually in the house behind where my cousin was accidentally shot that day at my babysitter's. We all know that it was a tragic accident not done on purpose. It's awful that the author would state otherwise. Oh, and neither house is condemned. My uncle's and aunt's former home is currently occupied by another uncle and aunt of mine, one of mark's brothers' lives there. Learn your facts here people.

I first moved to Avoca, Michigan in March of 2016, and I come from a little quiet southern community down in Newport, Tennessee. Not much happens down there, just folks living their lives, the only way they know how a lot of old timers down there to. Anyway one day in late July on a day hot enough to make the devil sigh I was riding my bike down the road. As you should know I had always believed in ghosts, and I saw this big 2-story real old looking house that looked like 1800s kind of thing. You know so naturally I stopped and figured I'd go see who in the world owns this beautiful house.
I knocked on the door, and it slowly creaked open, and there was a tall thin woman standing in front of me. Her eyes were dark black and sunk in. She had on a white night gown, and she had long black hair. She looked like she hadn't eaten in days, and just by looking at her I was struck by fear. I ran as fast as I could back to my bike not thinking at all. I peddled as fast as I could and didn't stop until I got home. I never went down that street again.
