Comment by Tracey: I used to live on Kalamo Hwy as a little girl. I am wondering if the road was created as a marker of where the town of Kalamo once stood? In the early 80s part of Kalamo was a dirt road, you could get to it off of m-78.|
The east side was paved, Parkview Elementary is located on the east side. I now live in Bellevue in the remains of a ghost town known as Assyria. We have the Stephen King thing down. A creepy church, a cemetery, and a place to grab a beer when one is in fear.
