We live on Lake Moraine. Since moving here in about 1998 the entire subdivision has been struck by tragedy after tragedy. Shortly before I moved in, a high school girl across the street committed suicide. My neighbor's high school son died in a car accident. The boyfriend of a resident killed himself. My next door neighbors were involved in a murder-suicide.

various sorts of brain damage. Four weeks apart two high school boys were in separate car accidents. They were both residents of the subdivision. In each
|
case they were one of four passengers, and each was the only survivor.
One neighbor reported that, after moving into their home, they found a room in the basement. The entire room was painted red and contained a crib. They immediately had the room blessed and repainted it. A couple of months later they received some sort of underground satanic magazine. It was not the type you could ever purchase in the store, but rather a homemade version. The
