There's a ghost at Foss park. An old man shows up out of nowhere and then just vanishes again. I saw him and thought I was nuts but others have told me that it's fairly common to see him.

Around December several years ago I had a strange encounter with an out-of-this-world being. I have lived in Burton for nearly twenty years, and I have never experienced something like this in my entire life. I live in a house near the woods next to the border of Grand Blanc. There are several trails winding through the woods, and there is a small clearing where very little grows other than tall grass. My sister and I were out there near midnight. It was a foolish idea, but we were young. We heard branches being crunched several feet in front and behind us. We did not know what to do because we could not see anything; it was as if we were trapped.

Then we saw two orbs, and they danced around us like a cult gathering. A few minutes later it ended, and we were confused and dazed from the whole encounter. Then we began our trek home, but that was not the end of our torment. We saw a woman dressed in dated clothing walking with her neck cut all the way around. She stopped in the middle of the trail and lifted up her arm and pointed at a nearby dried up small ravine. Inside there were at least twenty orbs floating above the ground, and the smell of rotting flesh seeped from the cracks in the earth. It was unbearable for us. That was not even the worse of it. The orbs came out of the ravine and towards us. My sister and I ran through the woods looking for an escape. What I believe to have happened from after all the years of pain is that the woman in white takes the girls away, to where I don't know, but their spirits are left behind on this earth trapped in those woods. I'm too afraid to go near those woods. This is something that I've held in for years. I was always too scared to talk about it, but I finally did.

One day last year I was sitting at home alone reading a book. I was almost to a really good part in my book when all of a sudden I started hearing voices coming from just the other room. I got up and looked around to see if anyone was in the house but I saw no one.
