after we moved away. I was told of future tragic events. Submitted by Horace

I know the farmhouse you speak of on Dunn Trail. My mother worked the field across the road. We lived in a small house in front of a sand ridge, about a half mile towards the lake. My mother wouldn't allow us to pass the house because it was possessed, in her words. I could see the boys playing in the yard, but was forbidden to play there.
Once I snuck out of the house and walked down there. What I saw has haunted me for the rest of my years. As I explored the yard, I heard kids playing in the wooden building behind the house. I entered the barn and saw a figure dangling from the rafters. I would rather not relive this any longer. There were no people in the barn to create the noise I heard.

I ran home to the shack we lived in. I don't ever remember returning, but I do recall hearing kids screaming. The weirdest part is that my mother told me the house was vacant for many years when we lived on Dunn Trail. A family moved in eventually. Our house burned to the ground, so we left. I have never been able to forget those years.
