I lived on Pearl Street in a brick Victorian home that was about 2 1/2 stories high. The house had its original metal roof. Typically owners would paint problem areas with an aluminum colored paint. Some areas were steeply raked and slippery when wet with paint. My wife and I frequently heard noises at night which sounded like somebody falling off the roof. I always wondered about the silver streaks on the brick, and a long time local told me someone died from a fall many years ago. The home was about 100 years old. Legend had it he wasn't wearing any safety role or the like.

Oak Grove Cemetery freaked us all out. I'll never go there again at night by the old hole in the back by the lake. Two of us that witnessed this are still in area.
