I was taking a walk with my dad around Lowrey at night a few years ago. We peeked through the window and saw a black figure walking down the hall and a loud screech. I ran, but my dad stayed.

I was a little girl when this happened. I was just walking in the hallway in Lowrey School. Then I heard noises that can't be explained. Then the music began, but it was scary music. After that the lights started flickering. I thought I was seeing and hearing things, but what I saw was real. A ghost was in front of me. I was telling everyone I know, but they didn't believe me. I knew there is a ghost that haunts Lowrey School.

I believe Lowrey School is haunted. I went to Lowrey in the late 60s. One late afternoon after drama club, my friend and I were passing in the hallway near the ladies locker room. Three of my classmates were girls coming up the stairway from the locker room after swimming practice, and the wooden door slammed shut on its own right in the girls' faces trapping them in the locker room. The girls tried to open the door from the other end but wouldn't open. My friend and I tried to open the door as well from the opposite side and wouldn't open either. All of a sudden we had seen light and smog appear from beneath the door.
We all tried opening the door; after a moment the smog went away, and we were able to open the door. Then once the girls came out, the door slammed shut on its own again. We all paused and ran like hell. We told the school janitor and teachers, but no one believed us. Many of the girls in my classmates told me that strange things always happened in the ladies locker room. We always believed they were rumors, but after that experience the five of us were absolute believers.
