I was sleeping in a house I was staying in, and the attic access door in the ceiling was propped open. I woke up with a funny feeling and looked up at the opening. There was a white apparition staring back at me. It didn't have a face, but it was very clearing peering down at me. Very creepy. I wish I remember where in the city it was.

I was on my way home from work by the intersection of 8 Mile and Grand River. It was during the recent power outage (08-29-22). Numerous stoplights were out, and the streetlights on some of 8 Mile were out. As I drove past the intersection going eastbound, I saw a greyed out figure of a woman with a jacket on, and her hood up holding what seemed to be a larger child in her arms. The child was about 2/3 her size and had limp looking arms and legs. I was driving fast past them, so it didn't seem as though they were moving at all. Just standing in the middle of 8 Mile in the dark sort of just gazing forward passed all the traffic. Still not sure if they were actually ''there'' or if anybody else could see them, but it shook me up.

One night in 1978 my boyfriend and I had fallen asleep in his car. He was in the front seat and I was in the backseat, we were on Belle Isle. I was awakened by someone peering into the window. What I saw was a man in what appeared to be full dress early 1800s police uniform with the long wool coat and big brass buttons. What was odd is this was in the dead of summer, when I looked up and saw him he just simply walked away. I believe it was a ghost of yesteryear.
