more times. A third time my aunt and uncle were visiting. I volunteered my room to them which meant my sister and I were sharing her room in the finished basement.
In the middle of the night I heard footsteps walk down the carpeted steps then run back up them. I checked with my aunt and uncle the next day and they both said they were in bed the whole night! I thought about any other explanation the two cats but those were definite human footsteps!

Another event involves an actual apparition.
I was sleeping when I suddenly awoke to see someone I knew floating above my bed. I looked over at the

clock then back at the person and closed my eyes. When I opened them again the person was gone.
I saw this person the next day and asked if they were thinking of me at such and such time and they said ''how did you know that''?.

My cousins live here in Dewitt in a very old house that is almost 200 years old. We went for a Christmas visit and were having a wonderful time when my brother suggested we play a round of truth or dare in the basement.
