About 20 years ago my dad lived at our family cottage on base lake during the summers. He tells a story of waking up one night and seeing a woman of small stature dressed in clothes that would have fit the early to mid 20th century.
He felt unable to say anything until the woman floated up through the ceiling. At that point, he said, ''wait come back'' but the woman has not been seen since. I suspect it was a victim of a boat accident that happened

on the lake.
After the accident that killed everyone on the boat, divers bloated the bodies and put them on our dock where the coroner picked up the

bodies and brought them to the morgue. .

In the Dexter cemetery on grand a body has been witnessed hanging from a tree as well as multiple shadow figures running through the cemetery late at night. If you wish to explore keep in mind the police like to investigate that area.

Comment by Um Yup I have a name: When I was 8 or 9ish and friend and I were at that cemetery back by the old stone shed near the river. Being the little snots that we were we were throwing rocks at turtles on logs. Mike reached down to pick up a rock and when he got it just behind his head I saw it was a skull.
We went up to the sheriff's office (which was right across the street at the time by sable's collision. It went to the History Museum in A2, they said it was the skull of a Native American that had been shot in the head and most likely had come from a recent dirt dump from the cemetery on baker Rd.
As far as I know it is still there.
