The house (mentioned in the previous posts) on Franklin Avenue sounds like the house we did an estate sale in. The owner was the daughter of the man who had shot himself in the basement. When preparing the house for the sale, we would hear knocking and noises. Stuff would be moved. My husband was in the basement and saw somebody. We were told the father was from another country and had killed a man, and that man was haunting him following him wherever

he moved to. Finally when his wife died, he could not handle it anymore and shot himself in the basement. It messed with us while we worked getting the

contents ready for the sale. I was very happy to be done with that one.

A home on Franklin Avenue is definitely haunted. When I moved in I instantly felt uncomfortable. I hated going into the basement. Basements are creepy anyway, but that one takes the cake. I did play the Ouija board a few times there with friends. My room was upstairs which was where a lot of activity occurred. Thankfully nothing bad ever happened to me, but whatever was in that room terrorized my guests. It would hide things from them and throw things at them. No one could be in there without me, or they would experience something for sure.
The only things that I really experienced was seeing objects be moved, hearing scratches and footsteps. If you were downstairs, you could hear walking, talking, and sometimes music coming from upstairs when no one was up there. A couple of times I would go into the kitchen and find all cupboards open as well. So much stuff happened there. I don't know the history. I would love to know if anyone has experienced anything there or knows history.
