neat huh? Anyway this isn't a ghost story, but it is an ''add on'' to Frank's story of the bones we found. This may describe why people get the heebie-jeebies when in that area and why people hear distant drumming, smell wood smoke, or hear yells and cries on certain summer nights. The professors told me they were going to publish their findings (if the haven't already) and once approved by their peers, see if the state historical society could play some role.
the record, we (everyone who helped clear that site) agreed we wouldn't share our story the findings or the exact location of our ''find'' to anyone.
I'm not sure why a certain party (Frank's not his real name, you would know him if he used his real name.) decided to do so about 20 years after the fact, but now it's too important not to share.|
But please, if you're a local and know the area we are talking about, show some respect! People spilled blood and died! Treat it like a cemetery and don't dig the place up. People are at eternal rest.
