In the early 1980s my then husband and I bought an old farmhouse in the village of Hesperia on State street. From the moment I entered the house I felt uncomfortable and I refused to go in the basement.
One night my husband was upstairs asleep and I was in the living room watching television. I heard a noise in the kitchen. It sounded like a banging sound. I muted the TV and listened closer. It was the basement door.
The handle was turning back

and forth and the door was violently rattling. I ran upstairs and got my husband. He came down with me and the door was still rattling. He walked over

to it and touched the door knob and it immediately stopped.
He went down there and nothing was there. This recurred several more times in the 2 yrs we lived there.

We went on vacation and stayed in a cabin on the white River in Hesperia our cell phones without service had drained batteries every day without using them. The dog barked at nothing and there was a lack of energy no happiness it was beutify.
