back in with my girlfriend when I was 17. We were in the house alone one night, when we heard a scrape then slam coming through the heat vents. It sounded like someone going through dresser drawers. My ex-stepdad who still lived there had dressers everywhere. Anyway, I went downstairs to see what was going on. I lay down, and about five minutes later it started again, so I checked again and still found nothing. This

happened four or five times. The last time I shut the kitchen light off, which was on the other side of the kitchen and headed back towards the stairs. As I got to the doorway, I got a feeling coming from the laundry room and basement steps on my left. I turned and looked at the laundry room, and a shadow rose out of the center of the floor. It was a black on black shadow, at least seven feet tall and three and a half wide. The laundry room was dark with
