I used to own a house off W. Washington Street. I believe it was haunted but by spirits that liked us. When we first bought it, we did a lot of interior cosmetic stuff. We went to leave out of the back door and off the deck. My husband turned off all the lights to the house, so it was very dark. I misremembered how many steps were on the deck and fell forward. The sidewalk widened to the length of the steps then narrowed to a normal size. I somehow fell sideways

into the grass. I have no idea how I didn't fall face-first on the concrete.
I also was home alone one day and decided to repaint the bathroom.

I was scared of the basement because it was a field stone foundation (cinder block in part), so I was talking out loud. I couldn't find an edger or the pads to it. I took everything out of our painting supply tub, muttering that it had to be there somewhere. I just took a paint brush instead and declared that I would attempt to free-hand it. When I got upstairs, I realized I forgot a paint stirrer. I went back downstairs, and there was one edger and two
