I used to work at Hillcrest Regional Center and there is a legend of what a lot of the old timers called the Crying Child. You could hear it out behind the structure known as ''B'' Building at night before a severe storm would roll through.
I used to come in the front doors early in the morning for work. And you had to go right past the morgue to get to the elevator. More than once I heard one of the body doors open and the table slide out and

back.
Scared the bejeepers out of me.

A ghost of a young woman was spotted in a Howell house in front of a young girls room. Her face seemed to be bleeding from the eyes and nose. She seemed to wanting some help from the young girl that saw her.
