I had the clock restored and hung it in my kitchen. Bad idea. We had enormous amounts of paranormal activity almost immediately after I hung it, which was odd because my grandmother had it for 45 years in her home and never had a problem. After about two weeks, my entire family and I were eating dinner in our dining room, which is connected to the kitchen where the clock was hanging. CRASH! I ran in to see what had happened and

found the clock had been smashed against its opposing wall, about fifteen feet away. It hit with so much force that it damaged the plaster wall. The clock

was in fifty pieces. We were stunned, and our kids were scared to death.
It turns out; the old lady that visited us explained that one of the people that had lived and died there was a captain stationed in Germany in WW2. He came home paralyzed from a Nazi bullet to his back. He died here in our dining room on a gurney in the 1950s. The lady explained that if his ghost was in our home, he would not take kindly to that German artifact being in the home.
