I lived in a home in Howell, Michigan. Out of my fourteen years in this home several strange things have happened all the time. Knocking on my ceiling of my bedroom became a game one night for a couple of hours. It started first for about forty-five minutes. Later my son came into the room and started tapping on the ceiling, and for the next hour it became a game. Wherever he knocked it knocked. If he knocked three times in one spot, so did this thing. It was quite interesting. Just before moving from this home I saw my first ghost. My kids had been telling me for years he was there. Now I have seen him.
The house was built long ago by an area pastor. He would hold youth groups in the basement of this home. To my knowledge some of the kids in this area used to attend these youth groups where they did laying of the hands on other kids to cast out evil spirits. I have movie clips of orbs in my home. I also have something on cassette tapes that sounds like my parrot saying Hi to one of these spirits. There have also been several people killed behind my house since 1997 that has added to this haunting. A basket flew off a shelf on my brother-in-law's wedding day (one year to the date of these people being killed behind my home) hitting him while his wife-to-be was getting ready in one of our bedrooms. The door was held open with her suitcase that moved, and the door shut while we were standing in the room.

After we had moved out I was not sure if it followed us to our new home in Fowlerville, but we had several things happen there as well. There were always sounds of glass breaking and pounding on our counter tops if there was a heated discussion going on. The home belonged to my husband's grandparents who built the home and lived in it until they died. Their mentally challenged son who was blind and the grandfather both died in the home. We thought it could be them in the home. We have, however, moved from there. I have not been haunted since. Kind of miss it.

Comment by anonymous: Was the first house in Howell on lake Street where there was a parsonage. It also has the log cabin on the property?.
Comment by Sherry: What killings are you referring too. I have lived in Howell 30 years and never heard of this.
