We lived in a home on West Brooks Street for over ten years. When we first moved in you could hear little odd noises and footsteps, that kind of thing. One night at about 3 am my mom yelled up to me ''what are you doing?'' I said ''reading by the nightlight. '' As my children slept in the same room as I did, and they were four months and two at the time. She said ''well, it sounds like you are dragging dead bodies across the floor. '' After my mother suddenly died I did a renovation on my house, and in the attic we found 3 Ouija boards. Someone had come in who did not know what they were doing and did a tarot card reading, and the action amped up.
The dresser would open by themselves. Our animals would not go into that room. The police came over when we were renovating as we thought someone had broken in, and we (the police and family) could hear people walking around and stomping in the bedroom upstairs. The police went and looked three times and could find anything. The third time they came down one of them looked at me, and told me ''you should get a priest to come here,'' and they left.

When you went outside late at night you could see a man's face in that upstairs window. There was no man in the house. My brother and his wife moved in for three short months. During the time they were there, they had things fly off the walls in the kitchen at them. A woman came into their bedroom at night asking for me. If I was at home, things were fairly quiet, but if I was gone, all hell broke loose. It got so bad we finally moved out.

Years ago I was parked with a date on the grounds of the old sanitarium; it was a cool and spooky place to go.... But lots of us went there in the 80s... We were listening to Elton John on the radio and talking when all of the sudden I heard noises...
I turned the radio down to see what it was... It stopped for a minute.... Then all of the sudden out of nowhere the car was surrounded by wild dogs? .... Lots of them!!! We started the car and took off as fast as we could...
