after my dad was attacked we moved. All four of us kids have been haunted by nightmares of that house. On the rare occasion that any of us drive by that house, we all report feeling like the house is staring at us. It was as if it knows we are there. It is very disturbing! There is a very evil presence there. I even have pictures from when I was a little girl, and you can see full figure apparitions in the photos from 1989!.

I lived in a very old house in Eastern Jackson on E. Michigan Avenue. The upstairs was made into a separate apartment, and I rented it for a couple of years. The house had been owned by my landlord's family since her grandparents' age, but it had been around even before them. We found out that it was actually built in the 1800s. A few months after I had moved in I was up late playing video games when I started hearing footsteps. When you walked into the front entrance to the house there was a small hallway that led to the downstairs door and then the stairs that went up to my apartment. The footsteps sounded like they were on the stairs. The weird thing was that it was the middle of the night, and the footsteps just kept going up and down the stairs over and over again. This happened twice more while I lived there. At one incident I actually checked to see if anything was there. I was too scared the first time because I thought even if it was not a ghost, it could be a burglar. At the time I did not have a phone, and I lived alone. It turned out the hallway and stairs were empty.
