I grew up on Bills Lake Road in a house my dad's uncle and cousin had built a few years before I was born. It was a little ways from the lake with a long driveway. The property itself was almost completely surrounded by woods. I used to have vivid nightmares of black hooded beings screaming at me from the basement sometimes in the yard as well. I was always filled with an intense feeling of dread when I'd go near the entrance to the basement.

My sister would have reoccurring dreams of seeing the shadow of a witch in the hallway. My mom dreamed about a blonde haired military man. She called my aunt to tell her, and before she could grab the phone my aunt called to tell her about her having the same dream. Me and my brother used to find arrowheads in the woods all the time. I would see things out of the corner of my eye. I had a constant feeling of being watched even when I was alone. Those feelings stayed with me for a couple of years after we moved.
