A friend of mine was renting the top floor of an old house from an old woman near Main Street. I was over there one night just hanging out and chatting but then we both became uncomfortable and quiet.
Like my neck hairs raised and just felt you weren't alone. I confirmed with her my uneasiness and she said she felt the same thing so we prayed for protection. While we were still praying we heard scratching on the sides of the walls outside.

first we thought maybe there was a raccoon on the roof or a mouse in the wall. But the sounds were coming from here then there then on the other side

of the room. It would have to be more than one animal to do that.
We also thought it might be tree branches from the tree outside but it was scratching where there were no tree branches. The scratching lasted for a few minutes and then stopped. I felt bad leaving her there that night alone but I really didn't want to stay!.
