I was driving through Manchester on M52 very early morning. It happened to be pouring rain. There was only one other car in sight. I went through the stop sign and was driving past the funeral home. Out of nowhere a man appeared walking on the sidewalk in front of the home. I know he had not been a second before. All I could see was his back. He was dressed in a white suit with a white straw hat, and he was using a walking cane. He was very much

like an old southern gentleman. It definitely caught my eye because I don't expect to see someone taking a strolling walk there at 5:30 am in the middle

of a downpour and he was definitely not dressed in present day attire. He looked very much out of place.
I was moving forward and was trying to get a look at his face as I was passing him. As I was about to pass, he literally vanished in thin air in front of my eyes. I was so startled. I almost went off the road. At that same time the other car that that on the other side of the road squealed his car as he slammed on his brakes. I looked at him,
