I am 47 and was born and raised in Manistee. I have never believed in the ghost/spirit nonsense until a couple years ago. For a year I lived in a house in the 900 block of Kosciusko Street. The things that happened there left me scared and believing that there is a very evil hateful spirit in that house.

Several years ago my daughters and I were driving home on US31, and just at the intersection of Free Soil Road and US31 we saw a woman (20s or early 30s) walking in the snow without a coat of boots. I stopped to ask if I could help. She said she was going to pick up her child, and I offered her a ride. I asked where her child was, and she kept directing me further down the road past my house and up the road.
