I don't know if the orbs are a weird lighting error or if pollen was gettin blown into the shots but when I saw the orbs I remembered my grandfathers' story.

There was once a hotel in Morenci it once stood where the shell gas station is now. I used to work there back in early 2006 until mid 2008. Whenever I worked the later shift I always got this feeling of being watched.

I just chalked it up to working rather late and with Morenci being a small town it's quiet at night and I was just being neurotic. But one night when I was sweeping the floor I glanced up at the mirror that reflects the rear of the store to look for shop-lifters I saw a shadowy figure standing behind me watching me! I turned around and no one was there.

I called for the other guy wokring with me and then I went home earlier than I was supposed to. Sometime later I was running the register when I smelled what I can only desribe as hot oil no fire or smoke but a very distinct odor.
As soon as the customer left I peeked my head out the door to make sure there was no one having any car trouble but all the pumps were free. I checked the stove and microwave and everything else I could think of but I couldn't track down the odor.
I went ome and was talking to my mom about the smell and she told me about the hotel once being there. She also told me there was a rumor that a hotel employe was in the elevator when the cable snapped and it fell down the shaft killing him.
