In the early eighties I lived at 12x Church Street. I lived there until our house fire in 1982. My older sister and I shared the upstairs bedroom. It was directly over the dining room. Long after my parents went to sleep we would hear voices through the vent. They were talking softly, but the voices were not our parents' voices. These voices were deeper. Another incident was when the grandsons spent the night. To get to the bathroom you had to go through the kitchen. When one of the boys went to use the bathroom the entire set of cabinets fell completely off the wall and landed in the center of the kitchen. The strange thing is that the cabinets DIDNT touch the sink or the counter it was above, and not a single plate was broken.
I went to Woodrow Wilson Elementary School (no longer standing. ) There was an event at the school, and they had a fortune teller there. I distinctly remember her reading my palm and telling me that she saw flames around me and my family. She also said that there was a presence in my home. A month or so later we had a house fire. It was 5 days before Christmas. We lost everything. I almost lost my dad, my brother, and my older sister. Looking back now I know for sure all that was not in my head. I live in a single family home on Eastman Street. When we first moved in three years ago there were no problems. Well, this past New Year's Eve was when it all started. I saw this black silhouette standing in my door way as I was lying in my bed which faces the door. It was a very mean presence, but for some reason I could not stop looking at it. I then felt a weird tingly sensation over my feet, and without my control my feet started slowly moving, ever so slowly. My feet were being moved towards the edge of my bed. I know I was fully awake because as soon as I felt my feet being released, and I could break my stare. I ran directly into my mother's room and told her about.
Well two years have gone by, and more incidents like this have occurred. As of recently, a new problem has occurred. I can hear people walking through my house (even when alone. ) It was as if they lived here themselves. I have heard footsteps through my halls and into every bedroom of my house, and this was when everyone was in bed. I hear my piano being played when clearly no one is at the piano. The other day I was doing my hair in the upstairs bathroom, and we have a long storage closet next to it. While I was doing my hair the closet door opened and out walked a black shadowy figure. My dogs bark and growl at the sounds all the time!.
