Comment by Ricky: If that's the entrance I think it is as you're coming in there's a long stretch of hill on your left. A friend and I drove in that way late one night must have been somewhere around 2003. He's always been much more ''attuned'' to the spirit world than I am and he was telling me about the children he could see who were playing and rolling down the hill.
He mentioned black fog also (which I've been told is not good) and though I couldn't see anything I still wanted to get the heck out of there. I don't think it was very long after that I had been ghost hunting with some friends I had just met and I casually mentioned Mona View after we finished checking three other cemeteries so we went.
Fairly uneventful (as it has been the two times I've been there since) but we took that entrance on the way out and the driver stopped the car and said she wanted to get her camera back out and get pictures of the children who she described as ''rolling down the hill''. Coincidence?.
