I could go on and on about stories we experienced as a family, and also independently, but I will say in all the years I lived there I never felt threatened. I always KNEW there was someone or something in the house but never feared it. I will say; however, no matter how old I was, every time I went up or down the stairs at night I not only turned the hallway light on, but I booked up/down them because the feeling someone was behind me was undeniable.

That house gave our family generations of love, memories, experiences and most of all protection. The family recently moved out in 2014, and I hope whoever
|
moves in comes to understand that the house is filled with a history, and some of that history has stuck around through the years. I do believe there will always be a residual energy in the home. It will forever be my home in my heart...the Elk St. Castle.

I lived on Haven Ridge in New Haven over a year. My baby was a new born when we moved in. Toys would fly out of her room. Our cat was always flipped out. I ignored it and stayed there. I had slipped off my counter trying to reach something in top cabinet. Something pushed me back up from falling. I don't know if there was any connection, but I have seen a huge spider in my basement. Its legs were the size of my hand! We smooched it. I don't even know if spiders that size are meant to be in Michigan. Me and my ex would get into huge fights about dinner that had nothing to do with our relationship.
