I was renting a house on Swan Creek Rd in Newport. This house had a wonderful feel to it. And I really loved it there. My husband was telling me that someone kept touching him and he was hearing kids playing in the closet on the main floor or the bedroom.
One night as he was sleeping I was watching TV we had a open stair leading upstairs to the bedrooms. I saw as clear as could be a man walking down the stairs wearing overhauls and boots like the farmers do in the area I could see him from the chest down.

What was so strange was that it didn't scare me at all. I did not tell my husband about it until won night he told me he could have sworn he saw a man in overhauls on our back deck smoking a cigarette.

I ran out back but no one was their. I then told him what I had seen. Later after a few months our neighbor was telling him about a man that had lived two houses down that had died back behind our house in a farming accident.
My husband asked him what he looked like. That was our man.
