I lived in a small house in Newport a few years back and had several encounters with ghosts that I would have to say were some of my best ever. I lived alone which I feel some times is the best way to encounter your best sightings.

I had just finished watching TV and was going to go to bed but had a strange feeling about sleeping in the bedroom. So I decided to lay down on the couch. But as I got ready to lay down and was almost in position some one, or some thing touched my shoulder.
As I started to look up I saw a lady with blond hair dressed some what like a woman from days of old. She continued to draw her face closer to mine as she gently kept pulling me over. Well you can imagine what was running through my mind in my brief encounter.
She then said in a very calm voice,''who is this? Well, I did what was expected and immediately jumped up. But she was gone. I didn't feel she was any type of a threat, infected I just felt she was some what curious to who the new visitor in her home might be.
