I briefly lived in Oscoda when I was 16-17. My step Dad had property on Loud Drive by Van Ettan Lake My step Dad and I had a falling out, so when I was a junior in high school (class of 2003) I moved into an apartment with my boyfriend Andy. In this house the lights would flicker, and we'd hear people walking around in the living room area when we were in our bedroom at night. One day we were arguing intensely. I went to the bedroom to calm myself down, while Andy remained alone in the front part of the house. He was sitting in a chair by the doorway leading into the hallway. After a minute he heard heavy breathing. He said the sound was about 8 ft tall. It sounded like a cross between a man angrily breathing and a dog growling. The feeling he got was intimidation, and he described it as threatening. It went on for 15 to 20 minutes, and when he got the courage to get up from his chair it stopped.
I didn't believe him at first and thought he was just trying to change the subject because we had just been fighting. On two other occasions the bed would shake/vibrate until it woke me up in the morning and then stop. I know these things don't sound like a big deal, but it's different when you're experiencing them first hand. The place over all just felt wrong. The energy was very negative, and it was more intense when you were by yourself. It was a sublet which was for about 3 months of the summer. I only spent a total of a month there. Too creepy. I've lived a lot of places including Chicago for ten years, and now I live in New Orleans. I have yet to run into a town quite as haunted as Oscoda. I've been meaning to get back up that way. Lake Huron is so beautiful, but there's really not a lot to do in this town. However, I have had a strong urge to revisit lately.

I saw a ghost in the pack house because I am allowed to go in there because my grandma works there and it was little boy and it looked like his mom.
