Since 1975 I have had unusual unexplained occurrences inside my house. My husband and I bought this house near the railroad tracks one block from downtown. This house is very old. It used to house elderly people that needed home care, similar to a nursing home. Anyway, shortly after we bought that house, and moved in, we started to experience happenings which we had no clue as to what was happening. We heard noises, and I saw shadows. In addition, I felt

as if someone else was there with me. The first happening occurred one night after my husband and I had gone to bed. We distinctly heard a crash coming

from the basement, sounded as if several shelves of glass jars had suddenly collapsed. There were shelves lined with old empty glass canning jars that had been left there, so we thought the shelves must have given way and fallen to the cement floor. My husband went downstairs to check it out and found nothing! We both checked the whole house to see what could have caused that sound and found once again nothing!
