I grew up in Royal Oak on Mankato Ave near Upton Elementary and right across the street from the park. My mother had many roommates that always stayed in this particular room and they always claimed they could sense a spirit or something ''weird'' about that room. When I reached the age of 12 I started to sleep in that room. One thing about that room is it never got heat. The rest of the house would be cozy and warm but in my room in the winter time you could literally see your breath.
I was often awoke to my Sony stereo turning on by itself and the volume turning up to max. My stereo had a remote so I was always looking to see if I was laying on it but it would always be on the desk or the dresser. If I opened my eyes I could see white flashes around the room. I decided to ask my neighbors about the people that lived there before us. I was told it was an elderly couple and the wife passed and the husband moved in with family after that. Well you can guess where she died.

After I found that out I was asleep one night and the radio came on blaring almost giving me a teenage heart attack! I turned it off as always and I began to speak. I said I know you are here and you need to know that you have passed away. I am sorry but if you do not go to the light and something happens to your husband you may not be able to find each other so please go towards the light it is a good place. After that no radio incidents or flashes happened again. I still didn't get heat in the room but I think that was just something with the vents..not sure.

I was outside doing something and my dog chowder started barking my neighbors window. I look at it and there was a face with dark eyes was staring at me, I blinked and it was gone.
