Comment by Martin: Where is this supposed to be at? Dice Road?.

Categories: glow, cars, lady
I have heard for many years that the Dice Road Cemetery in Hemlock is haunted. I have gone there a few times myself, and the only thing I experienced was an eerie feeling. I have only gone in the daytime, so more active things may happen when it is dark.

I have read posts by others who have had paranormal experiences there. One experience mentioned by a few is the existence of the spirit of the cemetery caretaker who even today keeps his eye on those who come to the cemetery. It seems like if the people are behaving badly like strewing garbage around or playing loud music, he takes issue with them and chases them out of the cemetery. If they behave well, he simply stands aside and watches them.

I have a friend whose aunt and uncle are buried in the cemetery. My friend is not a believer in the paranormal, but she related an experience she had there that sent chills up my spine especially since I read those posts about the deceased caretaker who is said to also be buried in the cemetery.
She said one beautiful spring day she stopped by the cemetery to put flowers on her aunt and uncle's grave. She said there seemed to be no one else in the cemetery at the time. She neither heard nor saw anyone approaching. When she stood up and was ready to leave she turned around and there standing behind her was a man who was at least 6'5'' tall. Naturally, she jumped backwards since she was so startled to see someone standing behind her. He looked completely solid and not transparent. He apologized for startling her and then told her he worked as a caretaker/gravedigger. She thought that was rather strange that she saw no truck or backhoe that he would have arrived in. He simply must have walked to the spot he was standing. After their encounter, he simply walked away.
I too regard this as rather strange. If he was that big, how come she did not hear him coming up behind her? Maybe he was standing there happy that someone was taking good care of his cemetery.
