I had a relative that lived in a house on Maplecrest Road in Sterling Heights. I visited there often as a kid. I had great memories there but also very bad. Well the bad stemmed from a ghost that haunted the home. We were told by a neighbor that the man that owned the home before my relative had killed himself in the garage. I can go on and on with stories, but I will tell you just one that really sticks with me.
We were playing hide and seek.

I picked the basement, bad idea. Well, while hiding behind the furnace in the dark I felt someone touch my shoulder. Of course I went running and yelling,

and everyone followed. We all ran to one of the bedrooms where we all hid shaking. My cousin then dared me to open the door and look to see if he was there. Well, like a young and dumb kid I accepted his dare. My older cousin decided not to let me go alone, so I went first, and she held on to my shirt. I led us up the hall towards the living room. In shock and disbelief there he was sitting on the couch staring out the window. He had a worn brown suit.
