I moved into my first apartment in 2005. I loved the apartment, spacious and affordable. Never thought anything of it but ''Alexis will be here'' was carved on the inside bathroom door. One night I was doing dishes and a candle of mine on the counter moved on its own very quickly and scared the hell outta me. My bf laughed at me.
Ever since then I had a feeling I was being watched. Our bedroom door would open a few inches in its own, and it felt as if she was watching over us. I was home alone one day while my bf and roommate were at work. I was in my roomie's room using her computer, door was closed. I heard footsteps getting closer to the door, thinking maybe they came home on lunch break, I looked up to see the door handle turn, fly open, and no one was there, I ran outta the house and waited for prior to come home.

After she scared me badly I became used to her you could say comforting. She didn't seem to take kindly to new people. We got two new roomies and she grabbed one of their arms hard enough to leave prints. I sensed a motherly figure who, after getting used to us, watched over us. A friend of mine who lived in the same complex at that same time told me of short, dwarf like shadows lurking at night. Wish I knew the history of these apartments. Anyone know anything?.

My grandmother has lived on Roosevelt Street in Taylor for over 50 years. In 2001, when my parents divorced (I was 7), my dad moved in with her to help her with the house. I visited every other weekend, and my room was in the attic. The house itself was in pretty good condition, only a few others had lived in it before my dad's family moved there in the 1960s. The attic was carpeted, and had two closets. The first closet had a tiny door that led to the second closet. My first night there, I went into the closet, and shut the door behind me. A cold, dark, and uneasy feeling came over me, and I was out of there in seconds. However, this was only the beginning.
