On Crabb Road between Temperance and Substation, there is an old farm house. I will not say the address, as I no longer live there. I did meet an older lady, when I was kid. She used to live in our home when she was a child. She said the house used to have no electricity and that they used candles to see. The house also owned the land from Temperance Road to Dean and Lewis Avenue to Crabb Road. She was a nice lady. She also told us a little bit about

the house and where buildings used to be when she was little. Neat history.
Anyways when I was living there it was spooky. The basement was always

dark and musty. My brothers and I used to play hide and seek in the dark down there when we first moved in. That was short lived because every time the lights were shut off, something would touch at least one of us, and there was nothing ever there. There was also an old window down there that led to the expanded part of the house. It was boarded up. Kids being kids, we would open it up, and the bravest would go in there to explore on our tummies.
