I did not think much about it as it was not scary and never mentioned it to anyone. Then my Mom came to visit and stayed with us for a week. The first night she stayed she kept looking down the hallway. Finally, she asked if my daughter was in the hallway. She kept seeing something move in the hallway. That was when I knew it really was something odd. We looked all around to see if somehow a tree branch or lights through a window were causing the shadow,

but the way that the apartment was set up there was no way it was something from outside. From then on I called it my pet ghost cat, and anyone who came

over would see the shadow at night.

The Warren Union Cemetery is extremely haunted. I won't even drive down Chicago Road. My brothers have told a few stories that have deterred me from the area for life. There is said to be a demon that resides in the back of the cemetery. It lives under the tree. My brother decided to explore the cemetery one night with his friends while they were geocaching. The cache had a riddle that takes you into the cemetery. From the moment he stepped into the cemetery he felt hot and uncomfortable. My brother's friend gave a rosary to my brother to hold. As they walked deeper into the cemetery, the rosary began to heat up in his hand. He didn't like that, so he turned around and went back. He couldn't shake the unsettling feeling.
The second time he entered the cemetery with his friends was at night. Two of his friends were trying to impress some girls, so they played hide in seek in the cemetery with them. While my oldest brother was hiding during the game something whispered in his ear to turn back. He listened to the disembodied voice and went to get my other brother, and they sat in the car for the duration of the game. I won't give any details as to respect privacy, but the lives of those who stayed and played that night turned downhill fast. Really dark stuff happened to all of them. This is your warning. Do not go to the Warren Union Cemetery, at least not without protection.
